These terms cover the garage door repair and installation services provided by Fix N Leave Garage Door Repair ("we", "us") in Dallas, GA and the surrounding Atlanta metro area, and the use of fixnleavegaragedoorrepair.com. Booking a service means you accept them.
Estimates and pricing
- Phone quotes are free and are estimates only. We can't see your door over the phone, so any number we give you before arriving is a good-faith range, not a binding price.
- The binding price is the written, flat price we give you on site, after inspecting the full door system and before any work begins. You approve it before we start. If you don't approve it, no work happens.
- Diagnostic fee: we charge a diagnostic fee for the on-site inspection. That fee is waived when you go ahead with the repair. If you decline the repair, the fee is due for the trip and diagnosis.
- New door installations receive a free in-home estimate with no diagnostic fee.
- Prices are quoted before applicable sales tax unless stated otherwise.
- If we open up the system and find a problem the inspection couldn't reveal, we stop, explain it, and give you a revised written price. We never add charges without your approval.
Promotional offer terms
The offers advertised on our home page ($30 off any repair, $75 off new door installation, 10% off for seniors and military) are subject to the following:
- Mention the offer when you call — it can't be applied retroactively after the invoice is closed.
- One offer per job. Offers cannot be combined with each other or with any other promotion.
- Offers apply to completed work only and are deducted from the final quoted price before tax.
- The senior and military discount requires valid ID at the time of service.
- Offers have no cash value and may be withdrawn or changed at any time. The terms in effect are those published on this website on the day you book.
Scheduling, arrival and cancellation
We aim for same-day service and prioritize emergencies, but arrival windows are estimates, not guarantees — traffic, weather, and emergency calls ahead of you can move them. We'll keep you informed if we're running behind.
There's no charge to cancel or reschedule before the technician is dispatched. Just call us.
Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work unless we've agreed otherwise in writing. We'll tell you which payment methods we accept when you book.
Warranty
Parts and labor warranty terms for your specific job are stated in writing on your invoice, along with the manufacturer's warranty on any parts installed. Keep your invoice — it's your warranty document. Warranty covers defects in the parts we supplied and the workmanship we performed. It does not cover damage from impact (backing into the door), misuse, weather events, power surges, pest damage, work performed by others after our visit, or normal wear on consumable components.
To make a warranty claim, call (470) 905-2293 with your invoice to hand and we'll come back out.
Safety — please read. A garage door is the heaviest moving object in most homes, and a torsion spring stores enough energy to cause serious injury or death. Never attempt to replace a spring or cable yourself, never try to lift a door whose spring has broken, and keep children and pets clear of a door that is behaving unpredictably. If your door is stuck, jammed, or hanging crooked, stop using it and call us.
Access and site conditions
To do the work we need safe access to the garage, the door, and the opener, and a working power outlet. Please clear vehicles and stored items from the work area before we arrive. We're not responsible for delays caused by access we couldn't get.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, or for problems arising from a door structure, header, framing, or electrical supply that was already defective or non-compliant before our visit. If we find something like that, we'll tell you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent Georgia law allows, our total liability arising from any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — for example lost income, or the cost of alternative transport while a door is out of action. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Website content
We keep the information on this site accurate, but it's provided for general guidance and isn't technical advice for your specific door. Service availability, response times, and pricing can change without notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Paulding County, Georgia.
